Health Technology Assessment (HTA)

HTA identifies and summarises research evidence to support health care decision-making. It is a multi-disciplinary process to analyse safety and effectiveness of health care technologies, policies and practices, their costs, ethical, organisational and legal implications, as well as patient and citizen aspects.

Iris Pasternack 14/8/1961 – 12/3/2020

The founder of Summaryx Ltd., Dr. Iris Pasternack, died peacefully at home on the 12th of March after a long illness. Her colleagues at Summaryx remember Iris with much gratitude. Her positive, inquisitive and hard-working character was just right for the demands of health technology assessment. Iris founded Summaryx and skilfully guided our work for many years. Summaryx Ltd. is a social enterprise that supports judicious and equitable healthcare by providing impartial information on the effectiveness, costs, and implementation of health care methods and practices. Just as Iris wished, we will continue this work in the spirit she intended.
