What we do

We typically undertake HTA reviews, systematic literature reviews, often including cost-effectiveness or budget-impact analyses. We respond to the needs of each client, using state-of-the art methods, ensuring the right scope and content for each assessment.

HTA
We have completed a wide range of HTA reviews, e.g., for the Finnish Social Insurance Institution,  Council for Choices in Health Care in Finland (COHERE Finland), as well as for private companies.

Hospital-based Health Technology Assessment (HB-HTA)
We have been involved in supporting the uptake of HTA as part of planning acquisitions and investment decisions. In collaboration with a number of Finnish hospitals we have developed a bespoke procurement proposal form (in Finnish, can be made available in English, upon request), which can be used to identify and describe important considerations when considering acquisitions and investments.

We have created a simplified web-based Budget Impact Analysis (BIA) tool (currently only in Finnish, which can be made available in English upon request). This tool is available for non-commercial use. We would be happy to discuss your BIA needs further.

In more complex or extensive procurement decisions, the AdHopHTA-project's Mini-HTA form, version 2.0. for example, can be used.

Consultancy and reports
We have provided advice, help and reports for both the public and private sectors, on topics such as market access, Finnish treatment practices and the Finnish HTA landscape.

EUnetHTA and HTA-methodological development
We have participated in the development of the HTA Core Model, a common framework and tool for shared preparation of HTAs.
